Lisa D. Nelson, 40, of Estes Park formerly of Longmont passed away October 31, 2013 in Estes Park, Colorado. She was born June 21, 1973 in Radford, Virginia to Clinton and Jill (Schulz) McKinney.Lisa and her family moved to Longmont in 1978 from Pearisburg, Virginia, she graduated from Skyline High School in 1991. Lisa was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt and friend; she was also of the Catholic faith.She was preceded in death by her mother Jill McKinney.Lisa is survived by her son Marcus Nelson, father Clinton McKinney, a brother Jim Elliott and wife Sheryl, three sisters; Christie Severance and husband David, Veronica Elliott and Theresa Buchtel and husband Christopher.Memorial service will be 11 AM Monday Nov. 11, 2013 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
