Logan Joseph Goodner, 29, born in Longmont, Colorado passed away after enduring a tragic hunting accident, a life that was just beginning but suddenly brought to an abrupt end. Logan was taken from us on the evening of Thursday, October 15, 2026, while spending his final time enjoying a fire, the outdoors, and the anticipation of his friends arriving for the next day’s hunt. He was living life at full speed every single day while working as a Project Manager for Conception to Reality, Inc. (CTR) while residing in Broomfield, Colorado.
Logan was passionate about too many things in life to list. He loved athletics, skiing, hunting, snowmobiling, his dogs Milo and Millie, cooking, friends, family, and especially camping, traveling, and spending time with his love Lindsay. He excelled at sports in high school and college. A graduate of Longmont High School, he was fortunate enough to participate in several state level competitions which included football, track, and wrestling. Logan continued his education while attending and graduating from Western State Colorado University in 2020 with a degree in Outdoor Recreation and Environmental Sustainability. Logan originally attended college to continue playing football but soon discovered his passion for skiing on Western’s Free Ride Mountain Ski Team where he traveled throughout Western U.S. and Canada. Also, he felt compelled to get certified to drive Western’s school vans for both his ski and Rugby teams. Logan was living his life to the fullest with so many plans for the future but instead was sidelined to a celebration of life in his honor.
Logan is survived by his brother, Duffy E. Goodner, and parents James E. and Amy S. Goodner. He was preceded in death by his sister, Delaney S. Goodner.
His memorial will take place at The Light of Christ Church, 1000 15th Ave., Longmont, Colorado on Thursday, October 29th at 10:00 am. A celebration of life reception will follow at the Pumphouse Brewery, 540 Main Street, Longmont, Colorado.
In lieu of flowers, we request donations to the Courage Classic for Children’s Hospital Colorado, Center of Cancer and Blood Disorders at the link below. Logan always supported this to honor his sister, Delaney Goodner.
