Born on May 19, 1937 in Burlington, WI, Lorraine was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother.
Lorraine grew up in East Troy, WI with her brothers Dale and Duane, and three sisters, Carol, Donna, and Dawn. She married Charles (Chuck) Hunter in 1956. They shared 43 wonderful years together, raising four children whom they greatly enjoyed and loved watching them play sports. She worked at the Longmont Times Call for 15 years and then 25 years at Leanin’ Tree where she made many friends. Above all else, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her greatest joy. Lorraine always had a unique ability for recalling family events and details and would tell wonderful stories to anyone that would listen.
Lorraine is survived by her children, Charles (Cokie) Hunter Jr. and Kim (Bob) Hollis, seven grandchildren, Dustin, Kelly, Nathan, Sean, Dylan, Logan, and Kyla, and seven great grandchildren, Taylor, Jeremiah, Nicole, Ellie, Abigail, Tucker, and Koda.
