My beautiful, sweet, loving Grandmother,I think about you every single day. I think about the great memories and how fortunate I was to have you so close to me my entire life. How fortunate I am to have the mother that I do because of you. I ask God everyday, why? Why couldnâ€™t we have her for longer, but thatâ€™s selfish of me I know. I know you were suffering, I know you were in pain and I know that you are in the most beautiful place ever. My heart is in sooo many little pieces, I know they say time heals, but youâ€™re one person that my heart will never ever let go of. I miss you sooo much. This time of the year reminds me of how much you loved Christmas lights, how much you enjoyed seeing the different decorations and how lucky I really am that you are my Grandmother. I love and miss you forever and always and I hope that you see how beautiful the world is lit from up above. I love you, Grandma.

This has been one of the most difficult experiences in my life. My mother and I were so close to our Lucy. I am sad, but find peace in my heart that she is at rest, no more pain or suffering. I love you Grandma, you are forever in my heart, until I see you again...
