Margaret Doreen Robinson

Margaret Doreen Robinson of Longmont died October 20, 2012 at Longmont United Hospital. She was 85 years old.She was born February 27, 1927 in Birmingham, England to Wilbert E. and Elsie (Reynolds) Jackson. Margaret immigrated to the United States following WWII.She married Neal C. Robinson, whom she met while he was stationed in England with the US Army Air Corps during WWII, on June 10, 1950 in Craig, CO. Neal and Margaret moved to Longmont in 1967. She then moved to Platteville in 1997.She was a homemaker and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Margaret enjoyed knitting.She was preceded in death by her husband, Neal, on December 3, 2005.Margaret is survived by two sons Ernie Robinson of Platteville, CO and Alan Robinson (Cindy) of Brownsville, TX; three daughters Leta Robinson, Jean Petrie and Gail Hamilton all of Platteville; nine grandchildren Becky, Debbie, Tammy, Melissa, David, Alicia, Catrina, Amanda and Holly, thirteen great grandchildren, one brother Bill Jackson and three sisters Irene Payne, Dorothy Morton and Elsie.Memorial services will be held 10:30am Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Inurnment at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Cremation at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory. Memorial contributions may be made to a Charity of donor's choice.
