Marianne Nyman earned her angel’s wings on August 4, 2022. Marianne was truly one of a kind who never met a stranger. She was born to Frances O’Conner and Andrew Ruyack on November 20, 1947 in Concord, Massachusetts.
She married John Nyman, the love of her life, on December 10, 1971 in Littleton, Massachusetts. In 1973, they moved to Colorado where they raised their family. Marianne formed many friendships over the years, particularly during her 25 years as a school bus driver and 30 years as an Avon Lady. She was active in Family Campers and RV’ers, enjoyed playing Bunco, and most importantly spending time with family.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, and her grandson Brandon Zavala. She is survived by her loving husband John, her children, Joe (Sara) Nyman of Leominster, MA; Joan (John) Jordan of Firestone CO; Michele (Tony) Wurster of Dacono, CO; George (Letha) Nyman of Loveland, CO; and Bethanne (Stan) Niziolek of Youngstown, OH. Her grandchildren, Dustin (Tammy) Zavala, Alexa Gloyd, Garitt Gloyd, Jessika Nyman, Gary Nyman, Jonathan Nyman, Audrey Nyman and Dominic Robledo. Her great-grandchildren Izais, Angelina, Aliyah, Enzo and Bennett. She is also survived by 3 sisters, Jeanne Ruyack, Susan Ruyack and Colleen Robillard.
Visitation will held be at Howe Mortuary Chapel, 439 Coffman St. in Longmont, on August 23, 2022 at 3:00 pm with a rosary beginning at 6:00 pm. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Longmont. A luncheon will immediately follow the service at the church. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
