Marianne L. Romero

Marianne was born on June 16, 1943, to Johnny & Frances Gomez. Marianne lived and was raised in Boulder, CO, she also lived in Longmont for 62 years. Marianne graduated from Boulder High School. Marianne was married to Dave Romero for 62 years.

Marianne moved to the Longmont area in 1961, from Boulder, CO. She worked at Sherwood Enterprises for 23 years as a Quality Electronic Technician. Marianne was a member of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, in Longmont, CO. Marianne was member of the Rod & Gun Club over 30 years, she was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Women of The Moose. Marianne enjoyed dancing, camping and fishing with family. She loved all genres of music, especially Mexican music.

Marianne loved her family, children, grand children, and cooking mexican food. Marianne is survived by her Husband of 62 years, Dave Romero, 2 sons, Dave Romero Jr (Kristen), of Longmont, CO,

Dan Romero (Kathy), of Colorado Springs, CO, Marianne is survived by 2 daughters, Shanice Woods (John), of Friendswood, TX, Roxanne Romero (Vince), of Thornton, CO. She also survived by a brother, Richard Gomez (Karen), of Firestone, CO, and survived by 4 sisters, Helen Capuchio (Lee), of Boulder, CO, Deborah Hernandez, of Longmont, CO, Celine Madrigal, of Longmont, CO, and Judy Madrigal, of Longmont, CO.

Marianne is survived by her grandchildren, Abrielle Stupar (Dakota), of Pueblo, CO, Dalton Hays, of Thornton, CO, Ian Romero (Khamri), of Colorado Springs, CO, Christi Woods, of Texas, Dominek Romero, of Longmont, CO, and Dante Romero, of Longmont, CO. Marianne is also survived by her great grandkids, Nyah Romero, Atlas Romero, Ezekiel Stupar, Izrael Stupar, Zaidyn Stupar, and Skye Hays.

Marianne is preceded in death by her parents Johnny & Frances Gomez, a brother Daniel Gomez, a sister, Patricia Benavidez.

A visitation for Marianne will be held Wednesday, February 7, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel, 326 Terry Street, Longmont, CO 80501. A rosary will occur Wednesday, February 7, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel, 326 Terry Street, Longmont, CO 80501. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, 323 Collyer Street, Longmont, CO. A graveside service will occur Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM. A reception to follow graveside committal will occur Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church (Benedict Hall), 323 Collyer Street, Longmont, CO. Everyone is invited.
