Marie Grace Conlan

Marie Grace Conlan, 100, of Longmont, CO, passed away July 18, 2013. Grace was born February 23, 1913 in Brooklyn, New York to Anthony Nicholas and Marie Antoinette Iacovatti.Grace was a free spirit who lived independently until 99 years of age, until a broken hip brought her down.Grace was a homemaker, busy raising her 5 children. She loved bowling and participated in numerous bowling leagues and loved gambling in Vegas, Black Hawk and Atlantic City. She moved from California to Longmont in 2003, where she resided close to her daughter Marie, grandchildren Arlene and her husband Tom, James, Melanie and great grandson Cassidy. Grace is preceded in death by her husband's Thomas Robert Fleming Sr, Vincent Palma and Lawrence Conlan and one son, Thomas Robert Fleming Jr.Grace is survived by sons Richard George Fleming and Vincent Palma, daughters Marie Grace Moroney and Roberta Omondo, brother William Avallone, sister Madeline Fortmueller, 12 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.A Memorial Service will be held at 2pm, Sunday, July 28, 2013 at the Moose Lodge, 2200 Pratt St, Longmont, CO 80501-1468.
