Marie Joyce Crawford

Marie Joyce Crawford was born in December of 1928 in Tulare, California and died November 1, 2013 in Longmont, Colorado at 84 years of age. She married Roy Walter Crawford in Bakersfield, CA on May 29, 1946. Marie was preceded in death by her husband in 1992 and by her parents, Dallas Curtis Andrews and Clarice Rosie Bell Andrews.

She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Kaye Crawford of Longmont, CO and Tina Jaye (Bill) Tapia of Sarasota, FL; one son, Walter Andrew (Cindy) Crawford of Santa Maria, CA; three grandchildren, Tameka Dalton, Taira Haskins and Shawn Crawford; and four great grandchildren.

Marie enjoyed gardening, sewing, camping, and caring for her family. She supported her children's varied talents and interests; and dedicated herself to develop their hearts into creative and thoughtful Christians. She volunteered her time in two forms of life-saving work. Her primary joy came from sharing bible scriptures with interested persons and in studying the bible with her friends. She also enjoyed her volunteer work at the Longmont Humane Society.

Contributions may be made in her name to the Longmont Humane Society.

Funeral services will be held at the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall in Niwot on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. with Elder Ed Kelly officiating. Burial has been held at Foothills Garden of Memories. In lieu of flowers friends may make memorial contributions to the Humane Society of Longmont.
