Marilyn Day Cruikshank

Marilyn was born November 20, 1936 to William F. and Florence C. (Fritzinger) Schwemmer in Newark, New Jersey. She married Henry Francis Cruikshank on February 12, 1982 in Tarrant County Texas. Henry passed away in 2019. Marilyn had three sons. Gregory Demark resides in Longmont, CO, Kenneth Demarco and Randall Demark reside in Oxford, NJ. She was grandmother to Aaron Demark (Amy), Christa Demark (Carlo), Chelsea, Celeste, and Randall Jr. and great-grandmother to Thad Giansanti.

Marilyn worked as an Optician until 2007. She was a member of St. Stevens Church. She loved sitting in her gazebo and enjoying her beautiful garden. Marilyn also enjoyed chatting with people and sharing stories of her past. She loved to read. Marilyn loved dogs and used to show them, but it was her beloved dog, Tara, that stole her heart.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Henry, and her beloved furry companion, Tara. She is survived by her three sons, her brothers, Ronald Heffner and Douglas Heffner, and her daughter-in-law, Jeanne DeMark.
