Marjorie Henderson

Marjorie D. Henderson, 82, of Longmont, died March 12, 2013 at Exempla Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO. She was born December 17, 1930 in Niwot, Colorado to Russell Cole and Martha Timpken Cole. On July 17, 1948 she married Alfred T. Henderson in Lyons, Colorado.

Marjorie was first and foremost an awesome wife and mother. Her husband and daughters were always her priority. She was happiest gardening and spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and dogs.

She is survived by her husband Al Henderson of Longmont, CO, her daughters Sharon Henderson of Berthoud, CO; Barbara (Roger) Ricketts of Paradise, TX; Debbie Smith of Salt Lake City, Utah and Patty Henderson of Longmont, CO. She is further survived by 7 grandchildren, 11 (and one on the way) great grandchildren and her sisters Carol (Wally) Dicky of Westminster, CO and MaryAnn Wallace of Longmont, CO.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Burl, Russell and Bill Cole and her sisters Leola Andrus and Nancy Beth Santorelli.

Memorial services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the Howe Mortuary Chapel.
