Marjorie L McClure

Marjorie spent most of her adolescent years on the western slope of Colorado in the town of Olathe. Montrose is where she met her future husband, Jerry W. McClure. They were married on June 19th, 1961. They later moved to Longmont CO, where Jerry still resides.

Marjorie most enjoyed being with her beloved husband raising her family of four children, ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Family was the number one priority with Marjorie and her loving family adored her abilities to nurture and provide unrelenting love to those honored to be her parents, siblings, husband, children and any and all family members. Many physical ailments shortened the life of this adoring woman, but never was she to complain or use any of these obstacles to stop her love and never ending smile that brightened many hearts and occasions. Hobbies included spinning, weaving, travel, camping, reading and tending animals on their property in Longmont, CO.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bob and LaDine Adams, her brother-in-law Phil Bathurst and niece, Michele Bathurst.

Marjorie is survived by her caring and ever faithful husband, Jerry; daughters Kary (Morry) and Kristi (Joe); sons Jerry Scott (Stephanie) and Jeffrey (Angela); ten grandchildren, Kaely, Brandon, Britney, Byron, Stephanie, Jamith, Kylie, Lexie, Michael and McKaela; seven great-grandchildren, Maddy, Izzy, Paisleigh, Elise, Tray, Bree and Maddox as well as sisters Shirley, Bobbi and Kathy, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 5th, 2018, 11:00am at Howe Mortuary chapel in Longmont, CO. Flowers can be sent to Howe Mortuary.
