

Mark Allen Neu, 45, of Firestone, Colorado, went on to eternity on July 27, 2015 after spending two weeks with family and friends under Hospice care. He was born on July 25, 1970 in Lima, Ohio to Robert and Judy (Gossard) Neu. Following graduation from Perry High School, he attended Ohio Domincan University in Columbus, Ohio where he received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemistry. He played baseball for ODU and tried out for the Cleveland Indians making it just past the second round.
On February 11, 1995 Mark married Callico Jones in Columbus, Ohio. The family also lived in Oklahoma, Canton, Ohio, Illinois and moved to Colorado in 2010. Mark worked for Praxair Inc. for 13 years. His most recent position was Account Manager. He played an active role in his four daughters’ interests and athletics, even being an assistant coach for Frederick High School’s Girls’ Basketball Team. Mark was also an active member of Rocky Mountain Christian Church in Frederick.
Survivors include his parents, Robert (Andrea) Neu and Judy (Phil) Spayd of Lima, Ohio, his wife Callico Neu of Firestone, his daughters Shyanna Neu (attending Chadron State College, Ne.), Tanise Neu (attending Metropolitan State University Denver), Nikayta Neu, and Cadence Neu of Firestone. He is further survived by his sister Wendy VanBuskirk, her fiancé Rodney Williams and nephew Devin VanBuskirk of Lima, Ohio. Mark leaves behind many other family members and friends as he joins those who have gone before him in eternity.

Visitation will be held from 1-3pm on Saturday, August 1, followed by a service and reception at Rocky Mountain Christian Church in Frederick.
