

Mark Lindquist, age 67, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Mark was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend whose humor, strength, wisdom and compassionate heart touched the lives of everyone who knew him.
Born on December 10, 1958, in Fort Collins Colorado to Fred and Luella Lindquist. Mark lived a life filled with dedication to his family, hard work, and compassion for others. He was known for his quick sense of humor and the ability to make people laugh even during difficult times. His warmth and personality brought comfort and joy to those around him, and he never missed an opportunity to share a joke, a story, or words of encouragement.
He dedicated much of his life to Social Services, helping others with kindness, patience, and understanding. His work reflected the compassion he carried in his heart and his deep belief in caring for people in need. Guided by his Catholic faith, Mark lived with love, generosity and kindness.
Mark also had a deep love for music and literature. He found joy in playing music, singing, and reading books, passions that brought him peace and happiness throughout his life. Whether through laughter, conversations, music or sharing stories and ideas from the books he loved, Mark had a gift for bringing people together and making others feel valued.
Mark shared 29 years of marriage with his beloved wife Sherry, building a life rooted in love, family, faith, and commitment. Together they created a family filled with memories, laughter, and unwavering support.
Above all, Mark loved his family deeply. He was a proud father of his two sons Greg & Anthony and daughter Markissa, and an even prouder grandfather to his five grandsons Christian, Noah, Erik, Jared & Cooper and two granddaughters Desirae & Addie. He was also blessed with three great – granddaughters Payton, Hallie & Willow who brought immense joy to his life. He is also lovingly remembered by his siblings Peggy and Kenneth, along with his four nieces and nephew.
Mark’s legacy will live on in the laughter he shared, the songs he sang, the wisdom he carried, the lives he helped shape, and the unconditional love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who loved him.
