

Marvin ""Mike"" Moehle, 74, of Longmont, died March 26, 2011. Close family members were with Marvin in the evening of March 26th and are deeply appreciative of the kind care that was provided by HospiceCare of Boulder and Broomfield Counties.
Mr. Moehle served four years in the US Air Force. He worked as an air traffic controller for the FAA, Denver Center, from 1959-1981. He also worked for IRS retiring from government service in 1987. He then worked for Vally Lab and retired in 1999.
Mr. Moehle was born July 31, 1936 near Sheffield, Iowa to William and Lela (Thirtyacre) Moehle. He graduated from Sheffield High School and earned an associate degree in welding in the 1970’s. He married Connie Watson on January 15, 1956 in Sheffield, Iowa. They lived in Japan, and Aurora, CO before moving to Longmont in 1962.
Mr. Moehle was known as a helpful friend who could fix most anything and was able to do many types of work. He enjoyed being with his family, traveling with his wife and working in his shop. The good times with his four sons as they went skiing, fishing and camping together were treasured times to him.
Survivors include his wife Connie of Longmont, sons Douglas of Fairbanks, AK, Christopher of Westminster, CO, Micah of Scottsbluff, NE and Rusty and his wife Kathy of Louisville, KY. Granddaughters Jessica, Alyssa, and Lexie Moehle, sisters Lucille Downs of Mason City, IA. Mae and her husband Gordon Eno of Corona, CA. Brothers in law Dr. Richard Watson and wife Pat of Missoula, MT and Dr. James Watson and his wife Rubie of , New Windsor, IL.
Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services. Private family services will be held.
Friends of Marvin and his family may honor his life and memory by following his example of helping others when asked, by being willing to meet life head on and by cherishing your family.
