Mary Alongi, 90, of Longmont, CO passed away September 16, 2013. Mary was born on May 7, 1923 to Stephen and Lena Forstoffer in Brooklyn, New York.Mary grew up in Brooklyn and moved to Longmont 8 years ago. She was of the Catholic faith and active at the Longmont Senior Center where she enjoyed lunch and gossiping. She loved to crochet, play bingo and visit the casinos. Mary also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Mary is preceded in death by her parents and husband Thomas.Mary is survived by her daughter Linda Lyman (Richard) of Niwot, CO, grandchildren Anthony, Christopher and Matthew and great-granchildren Lisa, Jesse, Tianna, Kristian, Jordan and Richie.A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Friday, September 20, 2013 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
