Mary Lutz, 94, peacefully passed away, December 27, 2017 at Juniper Village Memory Care in Louisville, CO. She is survived by her sister, Betty Lou Carroll, sons: Ed, Rick, Bobby, and Monte Lutz and daughter Susie Price, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and was predeceased by her husband, Carl Lutz; brother Clarence Lester Pergande and sister Mae Elsie Pergande. Mary was born in Fergus Falls, Minnesota to Carl Pergande and Bessie Mae Hemminger on September 22, 1923. She graduated high school from Epping High near Springbrook, North Dakota and went on to Business College in Bismarck. She married Carl E. Lutz on June 22, 1947 in Williston, North Dakota. She and Carl moved to Boulder in 1956. She was head cashier a Montgomery Wards for eleven years, secretary to newspaper editor, and finished her career in the catering business.Services will be at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel in Longmont at 10:30 AM on Tue, Jan 2nd 2018.
