Mary I. Yekel, 90, of Longmont passed away December 14, 2016. She was born December 3, 1926 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Everett C. and Bessie B. (Bogle) Davis.Mary married Henry Yekel on November 5, 1945 in Lincoln, Nebraska.Mary was a homemaker, a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and of the Christian faith. She was a dressmaker and enjoyed sewing in all forms, crafts and traveling in the RV.She was preceded in death by her parents her husband of 67 years, Henry.Mary is survived by her two sons; Jim Yekel and Richard Yekel, her daughter Christine Getman and husband Howard, a brother Donald Davis, eight grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren.Private Interment service will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
