Michael Joseph Heinrich

Mike Heinrich Sr., 69, of Longmont, Colorado, passed into eternal life surrounded by his family February 6, 2017. Mike was born December 1, 1947, to Heinie and Dorothy Heinrich in Denver. He married his high school sweetheart Margaret Lehl on December 17, 1966. They just celebrated their 50th anniversary. Mike was a professional long haul transportation specialist for 43 years. The last five was as a driver trainer. He had 2 million safe miles with Werner Enterprises. He was an avid reader and history buff. He educated his children and grandchildren in map reading and on WWII. Baptized into life eternal with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in March 1976. He loved his Lord and his many brothers and sisters of the Pratt Parkway Christian Church family. Mike is survived by his wife Margaret; sons Mike Jr. and wife Mary, Robert, and Joshua; daughters Heidi and husband J.D. Steward, and Kathi Jo Heinrich. Mike had 7 grandchildren Jordan and wife Monica, Austin, Leann Elizabeth, Desteni, Alexander, and Kyle and 2 great grandchildren Baylee Mae and Wyatt. Mike is also survived by sister-in-law Linda Heinrich, brother Patrick and wife Alana; and 4 nieces. Mike was preceded in death by his parents and older brother John Heinrich.Memorial services for Mike will be held Friday, February 10, 2017, at 7:00 pm, at Pratt Parkway Christian Church in Longmont.
