Michael Mckeehan

Michael ?Mick? McKeehan died December 18, 2007 at Longmont United Hospital. He was 59.Mick was born July 10, 1948 in Long Beach, California to Robert Neal and Roseada (Stoddard) McKeehan. He moved to Colorado at the age of six and grew up in Northglenn and Boulder. He graduated from Boulder High School in 1967. Mick married Mary Forward in Boulder on June 10, 1988.Mick worked as a printer for Johnson Publishing then owned his own plumbing business in Longmont. Mick was a maintenance worker for the Boulder Daily Camera for several years and then for Boulder Community Hospital for 15 years until he retired two years ago. Mick loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. He also was a baseball fan.Mick was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Mary of Longmont; four sons: Jeff and Cody McKeehan of Longmont, John Kinney and his wife Andie of Idaho, and T. J. McKeehan and his wife Stephanie of Frederick, CO; a daughter, Nicole McKeehan of Longmont; a brother, Donald McKeehan and his wife Mary of Pagosa Springs, CO; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.The family will hold private services in the mountains to remember Mick?s life at a later date.
