Mike passed away peacefully at home in Longmont, CO. He was born in Logansport, IN to Helen and Glenn Ward and he had one brother, Mark. All have preceded him in death but he is survived by many lifelong friends and cherished neighbors.
Mike was an Army veteran. He attended Butler University and graduated from The University of South Florida.
He was a skilled carpenter and had also worked locally as a teacher.
He was an outdoorsman and loved NASCAR and Indy car racing. He liked to travel and shared many adventures with friends. He was an avid gardener and an advocate for healthy food sourcing.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
