Mona Lou Howat, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away on October 9, 2017 at the age of 71. She was born on December 25, 1945 in Du Quoin, Illinois to Alva Eugene and Helen Tanner Hill. Mona worked in the St. Vrain Valley School district but mostly she enjoyed being a loving mother and housewife. She fought a valiant fight with Multiple Sclerosis for many years but her courage and faith in the Lord were unrelenting. She will be remembered and cherished forever by her husband Ronald Howat, son Michel Howat (Amy), daughter Kelly Brossman (Todd), grandchildren Jamey Brossman (Aimee), Joey Brossman (Stefanie), Tyler Brossman and Kyle Howat, great grandchildren Kayden and Khloe Brossman. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 20 at the Howe Mortuary in Longmont.
