Nancy Sindelir

Nancy G. Sindelir, 71, of Longmont passed away October 31, 2018. She was born January 18, 1947 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota to Earl and Olivia (Ricker) Surine.She graduated from Greenway High School and attended Itasca Jr. College both in Coleraine, Minnesota.Nancy married Dennis A. Sindelir on July 26, 1969 also in Coleraine, Minnesota and they moved to Longmont in 1990.Nancy was a homemaker and bookkeeper for the family business; she was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed scrapbooking for her grandchildren, Sudoku puzzles and flower gardening. Nancy was a private, personal entity but a gracious lady, revered by her husband for her determination, principles, love and love of family.She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Judith Spencer.Nancy is survived by her husband Dennis; her daughter Melissa Hunter (Timothy); seven grandchildren: Sydney Vienneau (Ian), Olivia, Nili, Shayah, Yael, Gideon and Caleb Hunter; two brothers: Earle Surine (Carol) and Terry Surine; three sisters: Margaret Peck and friend Wayne Johnson, Edith Edwards (Tom), and Teresa Kessler (Dwight).Memorial service will be 11 AM Wednesday November 7, 2018 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel; private inurnment will be at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery.Reception at American Legion on 315 South Bowen Street will follow the Memorial Service.Cremation entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
