Nancy Marie Stoaks

Our sweet, lovely Nancy passed away at the age of 82 on October 4, 2026.

She held many different jobs outside her home, but her proudest achievements were as a homemaker, mom and wife. Taking care of her family was her highest priority.

She and her husband, Mick, celebrated 65 years of marriage in April of 2026. They have resided in Longmont for over 58 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Alice Westlake, and her oldest sister, Mary Alice Wilson (nickname Wally).

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Larry (nickname Mick), her children, Mark Stoaks of Ft. Lupton, Becky Aldora of Ft. Lupton, Clint Stoaks (Colleen) of Va., Sister, Ada Loving of Denver, Grandchildren, Michelle (Nick) Albrandt, Justin (McKenzie) Stoaks, Matthew (Cassie) Stoaks, Melissa Stoaks, Alicia Stoaks all of Colorado, and Skylar Stoaks of Tennessee, and Sydney Stoaks of Virginia and Nieces Cindy Ann Taylor and Julie Michelle Jaramillo of Pueblo. In addition, she had great-grandchildren as well as great nieces and nephews.

She was a voracious reader of novels and loved reading the newspaper. Much of her time was spent in her kitchen making wonderful baked goods which she loved to serve to anyone who came to her home. She was a fantastic hostess to so many. She and her fun sense of humor will be sorely missed by all who had the good fortune to know her.

There will be a private memorial service for the family held at a later date.
