Nicholas Alexander Key, 24, of Longmont passed away June 16, 2017.He was born April 30, 1993 at Fort Huachuca, Arizona to Thomas L. Key, Jr. and Sharon Miller Key. The son of an Army family, he lived in many places including West Virginia, Virginia, Texas, the San Francisco Bay area and Sacramento, CA. Nicholas has lived in Longmont on and off since 2007.Nicholas worked as an IT specialist for IBM and the University of Colorado Boulder. In recent years, he has been working construction for Screaming Coyote Services.He enjoyed music especially Rap, playing the guitar and being a DJ. Nicholas played basketball, baseball and enjoyed shooting pool.Nicholas is survived by his mother Sharon Miller of Longmont, his father Thomas Key and wife Kathie of West Virginia and sister Tawny Key.A celebration of his life was held at 6:00pm on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Roger's Grove in Longmont.
