I am heartly sorry for hearing of the loss of Auntie Nico. It has been many years since I have seen her, and I loved her from the moment I met her. She always welcomed me into her home, was always invited you to sit for a meal and was very accommodating to her guests. Such a sweet sweet lady, she will be greatly missed. R.I.P. Auntie!

I'll always remember fondly her always welcoming me into her home with a big smile and a "Danny Boy" followed by insisting I was to eat as it seemed she was always in the process of making tamales. I don't believe I ever entered or left her home without her giving me a hug. Her warmth and acceptance is reflected in her entire family that I'm so thankful for being a part of.
