Patricia Ann Butler was born on September 1, 1941, in Queens, NY to Laurence Dunn and Florence Hartnedy. Pat grew up with her brother in Queens, where she attended Catholic School and graduated at age 16 to help with her younger brother and her father.
During her working years she worked as an assistant manager to the V.P. of Franklin National Bank. Later in her career she worked as an office manager for Dr. Monroe, an ENT specialist in Ridgefield, CT.
Pat married the love of her life, Jack Butler, in 1966 in New York. Together they raised their daughters in Ridgefield, CT before moving to Louisville, Colorado in 1992.
Pat’s family described her home as welcoming and warm to all who walked through the front door. She was loving, devoted, a supportive and caring parent, sibling, and friend. Family came first for her; she made many sacrifices to support her family and did so with nothing but love. Spending time with her entire family was her biggest priority and joy. She had a contagious sense of humor and the best homemade dishes, all served with a beautiful smile.
When Pat had free time she enjoyed family vacations to the beach, the mountains, and to visit family members. She was also an avid tennis player in her younger years.
Pat is preceded in death by the love of her life; Jack Butler, her parents Lawrence Dunn and Florence Hartnedy Dunn, and her brother Frank Dunn.
She is survived by her daughters; Jennifer Butler and Janeen Butler, her grandchildren; Kaitlyn Benac (David), Kristine Ansay (Austin), Madison Bergman (Bennett), and Brent Pfosi, her great grandchildren Rae and Talia Benac, her sister-in-law Jackie Butler, nephew John Richard Butler (Cristina) and their children Ella and Grace, niece Shandy Dunn Kingsbury, and great grandchildren Rae and Talia Benac.
