Patricia H. Dawson

Patricia H. Dawson of Longmont died on May 25, 2011. She was 57 years old.She was born on February 2, 1954 in Buffalo, New York, the daughter of Leslie and Elaine (Gibian) Hilton. Patricia graduated from Fairview High School in Boulder in 1972 and attended Colorado State University.Patricia married Maddren Dawson on December 30, 1972 in Boulder. She moved to Longmont from Idaho in 1992 after moving with her husband while serving in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years.Patricia was a real estate agent and a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Patricia loved working with her hands. She enjoyed fixing and flipping houses. She also liked all types of crafts and was an accomplished seamstress, making many dresses and quilts.She was preceded in death by her parents.Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Maddren Dawson of Longmont; her son, Scott Dawson (Trina) of Mead; her daughter, Julie Dawson of Longmont; six brothers, Leslie, Mike, John, Greg, Richard and Walter and two sisters, Melaine and Dawn.Visitation will be held from 6-7PM with Rosary Prayers beginning at 7PM on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 323 Collyer Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Interment at Foothills Gardens of Memory. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church or to the OUR Center and can be sent to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
