Patricia Leah Harrison

Patricia L. Harrison, 74, of Boulder, died January 12, 2015 at Applewood Living Center in Longmont, CO. She was born on September 21, 1940 in San Diego, CA the daughter of Alpha Ray and Wilma Leah (White) Harrison.

In her younger years Patricia was crowned Miss Imperial Beach. She attended Mar Vista High School and following her graduation went on to continue her education, eventually receiving her PhD at CU in Boulder. She worked as a Psychologist for Boulder County until her retirement in 2010. Patricia enjoyed beading, painting and reading and will always be remembered for her love of all animals.

Survivors include her daughters Cindy Sherman (Michael) of Pinewood Springs, CO, Kim Louise Borboa (Gustavo) of San Diego, CA and Traci Aragon (Tom) of Longmont. She is further survived by six grandchildren and her sister Betty Sorenson (Richard) of San Diego, CA. Preceding her in death are her parents, her brother James Harrison and one grandchild Jaden Tyler Aragon.

Memorial contributions may be made to either the Humane Society or the Children’s Hospital in Patricia’s memory.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 16, 2015 at Rocky Mountain Christian Church with Cris Crisfield officiating. Burial will follow at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery.
