

Patricia “Pat” D. Clements, 73, died April 28, 2015 at her home in Pinewood Springs after fighting a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She was born May 24, 1941 in Annapolis, Maryland the daughter of Charles Jonathan and Evelyn Marie (Curran) Whiting. On June 26, 1960 she married Gary Clements in La Jolla, CA. They moved to Colorado in 1977 from San Diego, CA.
Pat was a master gardener and belonged to the Garden Club in Estes Park, CO. She also enjoyed running and had run in four marathons and numerous half marathons. Her working career as a secretary took her from Vitico to Valley Lab and eventually to Pena Systems as an office manager. She was also an accomplished baker and cook, making numerous wedding cakes, including for all 3 of her children. More than anything she loved her family and friends, especially when they surrounded her in her kitchen, all working together on a Christmas dinner.
Surviving are her husband Gary of Pinewood Springs, her sons Jack (Heather) Clements of Erie and Michael (Jill) Clements of Broomfield and her daughter Cathy (John) Diebold of Greeley. She is further survived by her sister Yvonne (Bob) Goodman of Vancouver, WA and six grandchildren: Justin, Jacob and Lauren Diebold and Mikaela, Madi and Lucy Clements.
Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services.
A Celebration of Pat's life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Clements Home in Pinewood Springs, CO.
The family requests contributions in Pat’s memory to the Pinewood Springs Fire Protection District Fire Station Fund in lieu of flowers.
