Paul Victor Carbajal Jr. was born on May 4, 1957, in Denver, Colorado, at St. Anthony’s Hospital. From an early age, he displayed an incredible gift for music, mastering both the guitar and piano with a natural talent that was nothing short of extraordinary. He could make the keys on a piano sing, filling any room with the beauty of his melodies. Music was his passion, his language, and his way of connecting with the world.
Beyond his love for music, Paul embraced life in many ways. Early on, he coached youth baseball teams, served as the director of his church choir, and was an avid fisherman who found peace by the water. But more than anything, Paul had an undeniable gift with people. He could walk into any room and own it, effortlessly drawing others in with his humor, charm, and magnetic personality. Whether through his music or conversation, he captivated everyone he met. His natural talent for sales was just as impressive—"He could sell ice to the Eskimos!"
Later in life, Paul found his way into the medical supply business, where he continued to help others by ensuring they received the supplies they needed for a better quality of life. His work reflected his compassionate nature and his desire to make a difference in the lives of those around him.
Paul found joy in his family. He leaves behind his five children and their spouses: Issac (April); Dominique (Bonnie); Denielle (Daniel); Jessica (Colin); and his beloved daughter, Julie. His legacy continues through his many cherished grandchildren—Carlos, Dante, Vincent, Alicia, Charlii, Liliana, Olivia, Aubrianna, Quentin, A’mya, Christian, and Jonathan—who will forever carry his spirit with them.
Paul is also survived by his father, Paul Carbajal Sr.; his sisters, Juanita and Dolores; and many nieces and nephews who adored him. He now joins his beloved mother, Lupe Carbajal, in eternal rest.
Paul was a man of warmth, talent, and a heart full of love. His music, his laughter, and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His family invites friends and loved ones to come together to celebrate his life, share stories, and honor the man who touched so many with his music, kindness, and unforgettable presence.
