

Phyllis was born on February 26, 1947 in Leyden, Colorado to Phillip and Maxine (Debaca) Lienweber. On June 2, 1990 she married Wesley Hoffman in Erie, Colorado. Together they made their home in Longmont. Phyllis enjoyed reading, walks in the mountains, fishing and her tiny little dog, Ms. Panda. Family was also very important to Phyllis, they held a special place in her life.
She is survived by her husband, Wes; son Phillip Duran of Longmont; sisters Tina Brierly of Lafayette, Edna Lienweber of Thornton, Charlotte Hollenbaugh of Erie and Clara Hernandez of Denver. Phyllis is further survived by 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Franklin Brizal, a daughter Christine Brizal, as well as her brothers, James Purdue, Mitchell Lienweber and Tommy Purdue.
A celebration of Phylllis’s life will be held at 3:00pm on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the Howe Mortuary with Pastor Ed McQueen officiating. A reception will follow at the Longmont American Legion Post 32.
Donations in her honor can be made to any mental health organization, c/o Howe Mortuary, as that was something that was meaningful to Phyllis.
