Mr. Martinez was born March 22, 1944 in Las Vegas, New Mexico to Marcos and Effellia (Jaramillo) Martinez. Ramon enjoyed gardening, fixing clocks, shopping at thrift stores, riding his lawn tractor and going for drives. He also loved animals. Ramon was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church.
Mr. Martinez is survived by one son, Ramon of Ft. Lupton, CO; one daughter, Julie Stetson of Loveland, CO, three brothers, Tom Martinez of Sioux City, Iowa; Dave Martinez of Longmont, CO and Henry Martinez of Longmont, CO and one sister, Terry Martinez of Longmont, CO. Ramon is also survived by four grandchildren and three great grandchildren and his best friend Chet Newman of Niwot, CO. He was preceded in death by his parents and ten siblings.
At Mr. Martinez’s request no services will be held. Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary.
