Raymond Carl Taggart

His family moved from Californian to Longmont in 1950, where Ray attended Mead Highschool, and graduated as Valedictorian in 1955. IN 1956 Ray joined the United States Marines and served to 1959.

He returned to Longmont and joined in his family business Longmont Farm Supply. Soon after he married the love of his life Linda Kay Burnett on June 12, 1960. Together they raised their daughters and continued working and enjoying operating the family business for many years, in 1994 their daughters and Son-in-Law joined in the family business. It was a true labor of love for the family.

The Taggarts’ enjoyed traveling the country in their motor home as well internationally for business and for pleasure.

Ray proudly served in MSHIA, NAEDA, Jaycees, Career Development Centers, Chamber of Commerce, and the Lyons Lions Club.

Ray will be fondly remembered as a very kind & gentle soul. He was a wonderful Husband, father, brother, Uncle and Grandfather.

Proceeded in death by his parents, brother Johnny, and his wife Linda. Surviving are his two daughters Jennifer, Dee & her Husband Jeff, Brother Larry & his wife Marjie, two sisters Mary & Pat, 4 Grandchildren & 12 great- grandchildren.
