Rebadell was born in Mexico, Missouri on October 9th, 1934, to Walter Russel Smith and Ruby Pearl Travis Smith. She had two siblings and graduated from Mexico Missouri High School. Later, she married her best friend and life partner Thomas “Chico” Cimafranca on June 23rd, 1956. They traveled a lot as Chico was in the Military, living in Detroit, Alabama, and Florida before putting down roots in Longmont, CO.
Rebadell worked at the bowling alley, Valley Lab and was a scorekeeper at the local softball fields in Longmont. During Rebadell’s free time, she enjoyed going on outings where she could spend time with her beloved family. Not only did she spend time with her family, but she also traveled, frequented garage sales, and watched sports – especially games her kids and grandkids were in! Along with square dancing, bowling, finishing word searches, and enjoying reruns of old tv shows.
Rebadell’s family described her as caring and giving. She gave her time to her family, whom she loved dearly, and they always knew because she was very hands on. She would cook for her them and dress them up so that everyone always looked their best. When she got the opportunity, she brought her grandkids into her home and showed them the same love and care. Her family also described her as funny, accepting of everyone, and beautiful - inside and out.
Her family will deeply miss her beautiful presence in their life but will never forget the wonderful memories they got to share with her.
She is preceded in death by her parents Walter Russel Smith and Ruby Pearl Travis Smith.
Rebadell is survived by her partner Thomas “Chico” Cimafranca, her children Teri Ann Cimafranca, Patty Mares, Shelia Cimafranca (Lori Berni), Bernadette Cimafranca (Tom Phillips), Christina Castillo (Dave Castillo), Julie Duling (Jerry Duling), John Cimafranca, Christopher Cimafranca.
