Richard, thank you for your friendship.

we didn't spend much time together except for early morning greetings when I was in the front yard. But in those brief encounters you were always a pleasure to talk to. Your love for God's world and His children was evident. Sorry we never had that beer on my balcony as we planned. You are missed, but I truly believe you are now back home in the delight of God's presence. your friend Tim Zigler

To my very favorite neighbor...
Dear sweet Rich, I am SO grateful for your kindness through the 14 years we lived next door to each other. From your cheery waves as Jack (and Ranger) picked you up for an outing on the town, to your thoughtful care as the cable guys dug through my backyard, and to your complete delight when a SEMI-truck came down Wade Rd. to drop off the Honda (what a sight that was-- and we watched it all together!)
You and Bo were such great company.
You brought joy to our street, happiness to your neighbors, love to your family, and Chip to my doorstep. I will always be grateful.
You were a blessing in our lives, and we will miss you each and every day.
All our love,
jess, chili, and winn

Dearest Richard, Rich, Richie, Dick,
You went by many names, but they all meant my brother. I'm sorry I didn't make it there before you passed but we were in touch by cards and by phone.
May you find peace now and you can eat ALL and everything you want now. How I remember when growing up that as soon as we finished the dinner dishes, you were up and looking in the refrigerator again. We laughed that you had a ""hollow leg"" that you couldn't fill but that you never gained any weight. You and Jack will be sharing lots of meals now.
I look forward to the time when we will all be reunited.
Go with God, dear brother. I will miss you, Casey

I will miss you, Rich. You're the little brother I never had and I love you dearly .. God speed and may the angels lead you into paradise. and to the new and eternal Jerusalem..... Love Ellie

Uncle Rich, Thank you for your constant presence in my life, as well as your never-ending willingness to help family members, friends & our dogs! I will miss you & our Broncos conversations! Best wishes! Love, Chip

Richard was such a ""good soul"", quiet and kind and yet really funny as he wanted to know what was happening at all times. He loved basket ball, Fox news and FAMIY, missed his brother Jack, loved Ely, Chip and Jess and Juli. He did so many acts of kindness like caring for our pets, volunteering at the hospital, Meals on Wheels, raking leaves, shoveling snow, etc. etc, I will so miss you, Richard, and I am just so happy that you were my friend. You are with God. Pray for me as I will always pray for you. Love you, Carol and Daisy
