Richard McCready of Longmont was called to his heavenly home on February 1, 2017.Richard was born to Rollin and Edna McCready in Minneapolis, MN. on August 28, 1937. He served 4 years in the Navy, stationed at the U.S. Naval Air Base in Minneapolis. He traveled to Boulder, CO with his wife Mona in 1961.Traveled back to Brainerd, MN in 1972 where he owned and operated with his wife and two son's the R&R Resort on Round Lake. In 1982 he and his family moved back to Boulder, CO where Richard retired from the University of Colorado in 2000. In 1999 he moved to Longmont, CO.Richard is survived by his wife Mona of 59 years, two sons Dean, Mike (Dagney) of Boulder, CO and two grandchildren, Carey and Raleigh.Memorial Service will be 2:00pm Thursday, February 9, 2017 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel, Longmont, CO with Pastor David Bradshaw officiating.
