Richard Edmund Tafoya Jr. attended Erie High School, class of 1976. Rich was a member of the Cement Masons Local Union 577, Denver, CO. Rich loved oldies and loved to sing. He also enjoyed fishing, hanging out with his buddies at his favorite place, 3's and was always hanging out with his good friend, Steve. Rich will be greatly missed by those who were close to him. Rich is survived by his sons, Richard III and Eric and his daughters, Lillian, Brianna, Shantel & Brandi. He is also survived by his dear sister, Mary Ellen of Longmont, CO and his Brothers Chris (Peggy) of Loveland, CO, Mark (Lydia) of Longmont, CO, Randy (Yolanda) of Frederick, CO and numerous grandchildren, including two great granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his Father, Richard Edmund Sr. and his mother, Mary Tafoya (Gonzales). Rich will be put to rest on Friday, November 15 at 11:00 at Mountain View Cemetery, 620 11th Ave. Longmont, CO. Preceding the service will be a Celebration of Life Ceremony held at the The American Legion, located at 315 South Bowen St, Longmont, CO. from 12:00-2:00.
