Richard was born July 18, 1963 in Longmont, CO to Harold and Connie Canaday. Richard left this world on April 10, 2020 and went to dance in heaven with his mom and dad. Richard was a son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew and friend. He never met a stranger. If you had a name tag on he called you by name in a way that made you think he knew you forever. He LOVED pizza & Mexican food, Wheel of Fortune and the Golden Girls, 80’s music and wore a super hero’s t-shirt just about every day of his life. His biggest and most treasured person was his “niecey-poo” Kaley Leggett and husband Logan Leggett. Richard faced a lot of challenges in his life but he always did it with a smile on his face and kindness in his heart.
A private graveside service will be Friday, April 17, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Foothills Gardens of Memory in Longmont, CO.
