Robert was born in Louisville, Colorado on August 3rd, 1931, to Wilbur and Rachel Brack. He was welcomed into a big family with his 4 sisters and 4 brothers. Growing up each kid had a job on the farm. He worked hard on his many tasks around the farm before school where he completed his education until 8th grade. When he was drafted into the Army, he left the family farm behind to proudly serve his country and represent his beloved family in Colorado.
After serving his country he started his extensive career as a truck driver. He was fortunate to be able to truck around locally. He would spend most of his routes in Denver, Colorado. This allowed for him to be home often and spend time with his family that he loved so dearly.
On October 16th, 1959, in Longmont, Colorado, Robert married the love of his life Doris Faye Brack. Together they raised 3 wonderful children with love and passion. He shared his many interests with the kids such as stock car racing which he shared with his son Richard. When the kids were young, they often enjoyed camping and fishing on the weekends and during the summers.
Robert could be described as a jokester with his great sense of humor, an enthusiast of many things but he enjoyed his cars the most. He loved to spend time with his family above all. Next to his family he loved his donuts, ice cream, and his daily walks. He was a humble man with lots of love to give.
Robert is survived by his children Kathy (Robert) Evans, Barbara (Dave) Cozad, and Richard Brack; his grandchildren Richelle (Joel) Reed, Mitchell Brack, Micade Brack, Bethany (AJ) Nittmann; his great grandchildren Piper and Juno Reed, Caleb, Liam, Jackson and Charlotte Nittmann.
He is proceeded in passing by his beautiful wife of 60 years Doris Faye Brack; his parents Wilbur and Rachel Brack; along with his 8 siblings.
Robert will be greatly missed by his family and those who came to know him.
Visitation will be held at 9:30AM on Friday, August 28, 2026 at Howe Mortuary & Crematory, located at 439 Coffman Street, in Longmont, Colorado. A Funeral Service at will take place at 10:30AM at the same location. A reception will follow the service
A Graveside Committal Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 28, 2026 at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery, located at 620 11th Avenue, in Longmont, Colorado.
