Robert Michael Burch

Robert Michael Burch of Mead, CO died at his home on April 11, 2008. He was 88.Robert was born July 3, 1919 in Longmont to Robert and Katherine (Brenning) Burch. He graduated from Mead High School and farmed in the Mead area his entire life. Robert married Dorothy Irene Landolt on November 27, 1945 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Longmont. He was faithful to the church and was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Platteville.Robert was preceded in death by his parents, twin infant sons: Ronald and Donald, and a brother, Dan Burch.He is survived by his wife Dorothy of Mead; his children: Michael Burch of Mead, Jim Burch of Longmont, Cathy DiGregorio and her husband Joe of Frederick, Jennifer Tracy and her husband Stephen of Berthoud, Rosemary Rademacher of Mead, Bob Burch and his wife Cindi of Longmont, Paula Burch-Perkins and her husband Jay of Platteville, Teresa DeLanoit and her husband Robert of Berthoud, and John Burch and his wife Carleen of Mead; a sister, Helen Reed of Sunnyvale, CA; an uncle, Ralph Brenning of Longmont; twenty grandchildren and six great grandchildren.A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, April 15 at 10:30 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 520 Marion Avenue, Platteville, CO. A Memorial Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday with Reverend Emilio Franchomme as celebrant. Robert's body was donated to the State Anatomical Board.Memorials may be given to St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Robert's memory.
