Robert Thomas Grantz, beloved father, grandpa, brother, and uncle, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2021 in Erie, Colorado. He was born on September 16, 1957 in Lakefield, Minnesota to Harvey and Joann (Lock) Grantz where he was voted to be future president of the United States at the age of three. The family later moved to Castle Rock, CO where he spent the rest of his childhood.
Bobby met and married Manal Youssef in 1986 and had three beautiful daughters, Melissa, Jennette, and Jasmine. Together they created their own construction company. When he was not working he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, fishing, hunting, gardening, and theater.
Bobby is survived by his loving girlfriend Jocelyn and daughters, Melissa (Patrick) Steiner of Brush, CO; Jennette (Chris) Bishop Nadia and James of Brush, CO; Jasmine (Brett) Cooley Astrid, Thorin of Erie, CO. Bobby is also survived by two sisters Marcia (Gary) Elsbecker of Jackson, MN; Becky Ambrosier of Evergreen, CO as well as many wonderful nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his two brothers Craig and Michael.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, February 4, 2021 from 4:00pm-7:00pm. The funeral will follow Friday, February 5, 2021 at Howe Mortuary, 439 Coffman St in Longmont. A private burial will take place at the Longmont Mountain View cemetery.
