Robert L Jensen

Robert (Bob) L. Jensen passed away April 22, 2016 at TRU Hospice Care Center in Louisville, Colorado. He was 79 years old. Bob was born August 10, 1936 in Stanton, Nebraska to Wallie and Della (Chilcoat) Jensen. He graduated from Ft. Collins High School and married Beverly Kline on August 11, 1956.In February, 1991 he retired from Buckley National Guard after 36 years with the State of Colorado. During his employment with the State of Colorado he worked at CSU, Colorado School of Mines and Buckley.He was of the Christian faith and enjoyed reading the Bible.He enjoyed ancestry, the history of Denmark, travel, a good story, cards with friends, woodworking, and spending time with his family and friends.Bob was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers Harvey and Richard. He is survived by wife, Beverly, sons Randy and Dennis, daughter Debra Gartor, brother Daniel of Texas, sisters La Faye Sheahau, Judy Mestas, and Julie Anne Caldwell, all of Ft. Collins. grandchildren, Brad and Sean Jensen and great-grandchildren, Dylan and Benjamin Jensen.Memorial service 11:00 am, Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
