June 15, 1945 - June 6, 2022
Robert (Bob) Rademacher lost his hard-fought, four-year battle with pancreatic cancer on June
6th, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Longmont, Colorado to Theodore and Elizabeth Rademacher. He lived most of
his life and raised his family in the house next door to the family farmhouse where he was born.
He graduated from Longmont High School in 1964, after attending there for two years. Prior to
that, he attended Mead schools from grades one through ten. He joined the National Guard
after graduation and served for six years. He loved the family farm and owned Rademacher
Farms with his brothers until 1985. After the farm was sold, he worked for the St. Vrain Valley
School District until his retirement in 2003.
He is survived by his wife Janice, two sons, Dr. Bret Flynn (Erwin Joseph), Robert (Rob)
Rademacher (Diane) and two daughters, Stacy Blecha and Shannon Pivetta (Fabio). He is also
survived by seven grandchildren: Lindsi Smith (Conan), Kady Blecha, Anika Pivetta, Dante
Pivetta, Kaden Rademacher, Adisyn Rademacher and Colton Flynn. His surviving siblings are:
Rosemary Ames, Josie Warren, Helen Wadle and Ted Rademacher. He is also survived by his
brother-in-laws Jerry Schlagel (Darlene) and Ron Schlagel (Jeannie) and sister-in-law
Glenda Eckenrode (Jim).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Elizabeth Rademacher, son Todd,
brothers: Louis Rademacher and Edward Rademacher and sisters: Teresa Applehans and Rita
Regnier. He was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Mylie Rademacher and Lincoln
Flynn.
Bob has been married to his wife Janice for 47 wonderful years. Family was everything to him
and he loved spending time with them. They shared many happy moments together. Bob was
a very generous person and you didn’t come to his house without him sending something
“yummy” home with you. His favorite thing to do was gardening and making his famous salsa,
and he would always share his bounty with whomever came over. He was our rock and we will
miss him dearly.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 24th at 11:00AM at The Heart of Longmont Methodist Church, 350 11th Ave, Longmont, CO. In Lieu of Flowers, the family requests that you donate to your favorite charity.
