Roberta ""Bobbie Ann Bloomer

Roberta “Bobbie” Bloomer, 85, passed away at her Longmont home on Monday, June 19, 2017. Bobbie was born on February 14, 1932 in Tacoma, Washington to Margery and William Folden. She was one of 8 children. Right after high school, she and a friend moved to Long Beach, California. It was there that she met her husband Ernest Bloomer. The two were married on July 3rd, 1955 and had three daughters. They later divorced. Bobbie followed her daughters out to Colorado in the late 1980’s, to live in the area on and off till settling down about 10 years ago.

She was a people person who would strike up a conversation wherever she went. She loved to spend time with friends and family. She especially loved her quality time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bobbie is preceded by her parents and two brothers. She is survived by her three daughters; Linda Olson, Cherri Foley, son-in-law Glen Foley, and Karen Krieger, eleven grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by two sisters; Nancy and Cathy, three brothers; Don, John and Larry, and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held for Bobbie on Tuesday, June 27th at Howe Mortuary from 12:00pm to 2:00pm, with funeral service to follow.
