Rocky Colella, 92, of Longmont, died March 20, 2016, at his home. He was born March 19, 1924 in Plainville, Connecticut to Susie (Oliviera) and Joseph Colella. Following his high school graduation he served in the United States Army, being honorably discharged in 1946.
On October 1, 1943 Rocky married Francine Mae Mantzke in Hartford, Connecticut. She preceded him in death. Rocky spent his working career as a jewelry salesman.
Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, his son Richard Lee Colella and his siblings Albert Colella, Edith Colella, Emily Manafort, Danny Colella, Annie Weaver, Peter Colella, Johnny Colella, Freddie Colella and Lidia Hindley,
He is survived by his son Roger E. Colella of Novato, CA and his daughters Janice Marie Colella of Wheatridge, CO, Linda Carol Edwards of Oregon, Rita Colella-Hoff of Longmont and Nancy Irene Duhon of Brighton.
Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services. Private services will be held.
