

He was born August 17, 1950 in East Liverpool, Ohio to George and Frances (Krovitsky) Aronson. He graduated from East Liverpool High School, the University of Wisconsin, and Pettit College of Law at Ohio Northern University. He then moved to Boulder and opened his own law practice. Roger married Laurie Johnston on August 31, 1986 at the Hotel Boulderado. Together they made their home in Boulder where they welcomed their son, Hunter.
Roger was a member of the Colorado Bar Association, long-time member of the Boulder Elks Lodge #566, as well as the Sons of the American Legion. Roger enjoyed following his son Hunter’s academic and athletic success from little league through college.
Roger is survived by his wife, Laurie; son, Hunter; mother, Frances (Krovitsky) Aronson; sister, Mara (Lewis) Greenberg of New Jersey; uncles, Harvey (Dale) Krovitsky and Earl Krovitsky, both of Pittsburgh, PA; Brothers in law, Ken Johnston of Oklahoma City, OK, and Karl (Rhonda) Hauss of Maryland; nieces, Shara Greenberg of New York, Vanessa (Jeff) Tisman of New York and Margaux (Mark) Cerminaro of Maryland.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Aronson.

Roger and Laurie were thrilled when Hunter was recently accepted to Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he will begin in July. In lieu of flowers an education fund has been set up to aid Hunter as Roger had intended.
