

Rollins Edward Linser (Rollie), age 86, died at home in Longmont, Colorado, on July 19, 2022 following a courageous battle with Parkinson's. Rollie was born on January 30, 1936, in Alexandria, Minnesota. He graduated high school in 1954 and enlisted in the United States Army. Rollie served two years in Korea during the Korean conflict and was honorably discharged as an Army Medic/Corpsman.
Following his military service, he earned an associate's degree in electronics at Idaho State University in 1958. Rollie worked as an electrical engineer until he retired in 2019.
Rollie is survived by his wife of 41 years, Lois Linser of Longmont, Colorado his sister Diane Parker of Itasca, Illinois, his children John (Rhonda) Linser, Littleton, Colorado Elizabeth Linser, Gunnison, Colorado, Leslie (Edward) Dal Lago, Idaho Falls, Idaho James (Mão) Linser, Denver, Colorado Carl (Jonye) Simpson, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Grandchildren Megan Eflin, Andrew Eflin, Hannah Eflin, Kaylynn Linser, James K. Linser, and Keriann Simpson. Rollie was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald Linser, Roger Linser, Jerome Linser and brother-in-law Dean Parker.
A visitation for Rollins will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Howe Mortuary Chapel, 439 Coffman Street, Longmont, Colorado 80501. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, July 26, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, 439 Coffman Street, Longmont, Colorado 80501. A committal service will occur Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM.
