Ronald Ackerman, a resident of Boulder County for over 50 years, passed away on April 18, 2017, at his home. He was 81 years old.Ron was a native of Kansas and served in the US Air Force. A former, long time employee of the State of Colorado and the 20th Judicial District, Ron touched the lives of so many and truly loved serving others.Ron was a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, coach, volunteer, and friend who loved life and took pleasures in spending time with his family.He is survived and will be missed by his wife, sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, and so many family, friends and colleagues whom Ron held in the highest esteem.A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel with a reception immediately following.
