Rosa Maria Holman of Longmont passed away on December 22, 2015 at Longmont United Hospital. She was 79 years old. Rosa was born on September 11, 1936 in Ramstein, Germany. She moved to Longmont in 2006 from Kentucky. She was proud to work for the United States Government for 30 years before retiring at 59 years old.Rosa was of the Catholic faith. She loved going to Blackhawk and Central City to gamble, gardening, and doing crossword puzzles.She was preceded in death by her daughter Jean Tussey, and her parents.She is survived by her daughter Karmen Garcia, her sister Elizabeth Stuppi, and her dogs Dino and Sparky. No services will be held. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Longmont Humane Society. Cremation entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
